Partner Brian Griffin was recently a guest lecturer at the Nassau County Bar Association at a lecture entitled “Dealing with the Media.” Mr. Griffin gave advice to other attorneys on how to effectively and ethically deal with the media when involved in high profile cases. The lecture also featured an on air personality from News 12, which regularly covers high profile cases on Nassau County and elsewhere
Additionally, the federal criminal defense practice of the firm has widened to other areas of New York State as well as other States. Mr. Griffin and attorney Daniel Russo have recently been retained on two separate federal cases in the Northern District of New York (Syracuse) as well as Boston Massachusetts. In the ever aggressive world of federal prosecutions, state boundaries are becoming meaningless and we are committed to representing our clients wherever we are needed. As the federal rules apply uniformly across the country, once admitted to a local jurisdiction we are capable of bringing the same zealous and seasoned defense to any jurisdiction.
