Join Us for the Massapequa Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot this Fall
In 2010, Attorneys Tom Foley, Brian Griffin, and James P. Joseph came up with the idea to host a Thanksgiving Day race as a way of raising money for research and development of cancer-fighting treatments. Since 2010, the annual Massapequa Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot has raised thousands of dollars and resulted in substantial donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
Join us for the 2018 Massapequa Turkey Trot by signing up for the Fun Run (which costs $10), or the 5K, the cost of which varies depending on when you sign up. If you sign up before September 15, 2018, the 5K is $25. If you sign up on or after September 16th, the 5K is $26. The cost of the 5K goes up to $35 on the day of the race.
Register by November 15, 2018 and you will receive a high-quality long-sleeved T shirt as a souvenir.
After you contact Foley Griffin to let us know you’d like to sign up, show up on Wednesday night, November 21st, to pick up your race packet. On Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2018, show up no later than 8:00 a.m. and get ready to run!
Alternatives to Running the Massapequa Turkey Trot
Even if you aren’t able to participate in the run, we urge you to join us anyway and volunteer at the Massapequa Turkey Trot. We always appreciate helping hands during set-up, tear-down, and throughout the different races. You can also make a direct donation to the LLS and play a part in the fight against blood cancers by helping fund life-saving research and treatment.
